What is the proper courtesy and etiquette at Co-Optim?
Respect others. Treat others how you want to be treated. It is the golden rule, after all.
Appearances are important. We want Co-Optim to be a comfortable environment for you – but let’s not remember why we are ultimately here: to work. When you look good, you work better. We promote professional dress and attire in our office, so make sure to dress to impress.
Your Co-Optim workspace. Although we provide a custom designed, proprietary Co-Optim workspace, you may bring in your own furniture. Please let us know if you need to anything else as outside furniture must be approved by management.
Keep it simple. To put it simply, stay organized and you’ll stay on top of the game. Stay messy and we’ll likely ask you to clean it up.
The 30in Rule. Please avoid hanging things on the walls and stacking anything higher than 30in. This becomes a fire hazard and just looks bad.
Watch your mouth. Please be considerate of your language and be conscious of those around you. Use proper etiquette and refrain from foul language.
No smoking. Smoking is not permitted in any area of Co-Optim including all outside areas. Smoking kills, don’t ya know?
Beware of smells. No eating meals in the co-working spaces, and if you must eat a snack – limit it to the Coffee Bar only and break room only. Part of the great experience we are providing at Co-Optim is not being offensive with smells. (Ever been to an outdoor Fish Market at mid-day in July?) Help us maintain this great environment by keeping your smells to a minimum – our noses thank you.
Presentation is everything. We ask that you please keep offices clean and organized, and keep the clutter to a minimum. Avoid looking like you’re preparing for the Apocalypse and don’t stock a pantry’s worth of food in your office. (We have snacks if you’re hungry!) If you are unsure of anything – swing by the concierge desk and ask us.
